TEMPE, AZ – March 25, 2026 9:00 a.m. — Another Hollywood veteran is confirmed to appear at WHAM FEST 2026. Kendra Perpich has been dressing actors in costume and props for more than 30 years. From big screen blockbuster hit movies like Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Natural Born Killers, Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter Is Dead, Hocus Pocus and Scream 3 to the small screen hits Melrose Place and That 70’s Show, Kendra’s creative design and fashion sense, keen awareness of wardrobe budgets and overall amazing insight to the creative collaborative process of making movies shines in every frame.
Saturday May 16 Kendra Perpich will lead a panel of experts to explore costuming, special effects make up and props best suited for science fiction story telling.

Local sword-fighting expert Jenn Czep will appear at WHAM FEST 2026 on May 16, 2026. An instructor in real sword fighting, Czep will provide a demonstration of certain sword fighting techniques anybody picking up a blade should know. In a special tribute to women in action movies, Czep will join a panel of Hollywood stunt women experts to share some secrets of stunt directing, choreography and movie magic.

TEMPE, AZ – March 10, 2026 9:00 a.m. — Hollywood stars join the Women Heroes in Action Movies Film Festival to celebrate the survivors: breast cancer survivors. Hollywood veterans Suzanne Lyons and Camille Friend will attend the Breast Cancer Brunch fundraising event sponsored by WHAM FEST 2026.
Medical experts and breast cancer survivors will share their experience and the latest techniques and treatments with the audience.

Hollywood producer Suzanne Lyon is the president of Snowfall Films She will appear at WHAMFEST 26 on May 17, sharing her expertise in taking movies from idea in development to money-making reality.
A member of the Producers Guild of America (P.G.A.) and producer of 14 films, Suzanne Lyon has worked with Hollywood Veterans Susan Sarandon, Christopher Walken, Alfred Molina, Donald Sutherland and others. Author of “Indie Film Producing” and nominee and film award winner, Suzanne Lyon is an incredible talent coming to the Valley of the Sun for the Women Heroes in Action Movies Film Festival May 17, 2026.
